Pòta! Pendant Floor Lamp

Design

Pòta! is the result of Enzo Catellani's research into the possibility of constructing volume through thin elements, allowing light to become the true center of the composition. The structure does not use a traditional lampshade or closed surfaces. A three-dimensional brass frame defines the space without completely occupying it, generating a spacious yet visually permeable presence. The small light fixtures are distributed along the structure in a seemingly spontaneous sequence. The repetition of the modules introduces order, while the different inclinations and positions produce a sense of movement and irregularity.

The anvil as a sculptural element

The anvil configuration replaces the traditional ceiling rose as the only visible element of the power supply system and introduces a material presence directly onto the floor. Crafted from black iron, the anvil evokes the world of the workshop, manual labor, and metalworking. Its visual mass creates a striking contrast with the lightness of the suspended brass structure. This contrast reinforces Pòta!'s artisanal character and makes the system suitable for environments where the lamp should be viewed as a truly sculptural element

Light distributed throughout the space

Pòta! uses numerous low-power LED modules distributed throughout the structure, rather than a single source placed at the center. This solution generates diffuse, multidirectional light, capable of illuminating the space without concentrating all the emission in a single point. The modules remain visible and become part of the composition, creating a constellation suspended within the brass structure. The lamp is powered by a 110–240 V plug driver, which can be connected directly to an electrical outlet. A push dimmer is integrated into the cable, allowing you to turn the lamp on and off, increase or decrease the light intensity, and recall the last level used.
