Design

For You was born from the observation of the lightness of wildflowers. The lamp does not botanically reproduce a specific species, but rather echoes its structure through a few essential elements: a compact base, a flexible stem, and a luminous corolla composed of thin petals. The user directly participates in defining the shape. Upon arrival, the stem must be manually bent and oriented, transforming each lamp into a personal object, slightly different from the others.

Structure and Materials

The lamp rests on a small brass base, chosen to provide stability and introduce a warm, precious note to the composition. The solidity of the metal contrasts with the lightness of the textile stem and rice paper petals. The compact size of the base also allows the shape of the flower to emerge as the primary visual element. The diffuser is made of white rice paper petals, arranged around the light source to form a small corolla. The paper filters the light without completely obscuring it, creating a soft, delicate glow. The material's slightly textured finish reinforces the reference to the natural world and contributes to the lamp's visual lightness. The petals are easily replaceable, allowing the diffuser to be renewed in the event of wear or damage without affecting the entire structure.

A lamp designed to be given as a gift

The name "For You" directly expresses the nature of the project. The lamp was conceived as an object to be dedicated to someone, closer to an emotional gesture than a purely technical lighting fixture. The ability to shape the stem allows the recipient to participate in the final design. Laser customization of the base can add a name, a date, or a brief reference, while the amber light enhances the intimate and symbolic nature of the gift. The artisanal production, from prototyping to production, helps convey the value of craftsmanship and reinforces the relationship between delicate form and lighting technology.
