The Medousê wall lamp by Catellani & Smith, designed by Enzo Catellani, was created to bring the same intimate and enveloping atmosphere of indoor lighting to outdoor spaces. The project interprets light as an emotional element, capable of transforming exterior walls into living, vibrant surfaces.
Materials and Workmanship
The diffuser is an irregular glass hemisphere, available in clear or green, hand-shaped to create unique, imperfect forms. The brass rods add a refined detail, creating a dialogue between noble materials and craftsmanship.
Lighting and Specifications
Medousê is equipped with a dimmable 15W LED board, with a light output of 1300 lumens and a color temperature of 2850K. A CRI above 80 ensures good color rendering, while the IP64 rating makes it suitable for outdoor use, protecting it from dust and splashes of water.
