Details and Measures
Design
Mariolina emerged from an exploration of the potential of polypropylene, expressed through a shell with simple, fluid lines—the kind that could be drawn without ever lifting the pen from the paper. In the Stool version, the proportions are extended vertically while preserving the lightness of the original design. The result is an essential, distinctive stool, crafted to retain its own identity, regardless of fleeting trends.
Comfort and Functionality
With a seat height of 66 cm, the Mariolina Stool is ideally suited for kitchen islands and mid-height snack counters. The gently enveloping shell provides balanced support, while the integrated footrest enhances comfort during use. A version with an upholstered seat cushion is also available, adding a softer touch and allowing for further customization through a wide selection of fabrics and wools.
Versatility and Adaptability
The Mariolina Stool is well-suited for kitchens, islands, counters, restaurants, hospitality venues, and contract environments, combining visual lightness with everyday practicality. Miniforms also offers an outdoor-ready version—provided it is selected with a lacquered base and without a seat cushion. This feature further expands the product’s versatility, making it suitable for use on terraces, as well as in covered or well-equipped outdoor spaces.
