Botera Armchair by Miniforms
The Botera armchair by Miniforms, designed by E-ggs, places comfort at the heart of its design through soft, generous, and enveloping volumes. The seat, similar to a large cushion, develops into a backrest available in a high or low version, creating an armchair with an informal and welcoming look, designed for both domestic environments and contract spaces.

Details and Measures
Design
Botera is defined by a soft, oversized silhouette, with forms that appear to expand fluidly into the surrounding space. The plump seat serves as the foundation of the design, connecting seamlessly to the backrest through continuous, rounded volumes. E-ggs’s design envisions the armchair as a “cloud with a backrest,” making the upholstery itself the defining feature. The result is a piece with a strong visual presence, yet entirely devoid of rigidity.
Comfort and Functionality
Botera’s comfort stems from the use of four different types of foam, carefully combined to provide calibrated support while maintaining an exceptionally soft feel. The deep, spacious seat encourages a relaxed posture, while the choice between a high or low backrest allows for the adjustment of both the level of comfort and the armchair’s visual impact. The high-backed version offers a more intimate, cocoon-like experience, while the low-backed version maintains a more open, informal profile.
Versatility and Adaptability
Botera is inherently versatile, designed to bridge the gap between residential and contract settings. It can stand alone in a living room or be paired with other pieces from the same collection, which includes sofas, poufs, and smaller armchairs. The modular nature of the collection allows for the creation of larger configurations for lounges, hospitality venues, and public spaces, fostering environments dedicated to conversation and social interaction.
