Mula Chair

Design

The most recognizable feature of Mula is its wide, enveloping backrest, where two characteristic side "ears" curve inward along the sides of the seat, creating an instantly identifiable silhouette. The design by E-ggs integrates the padding directly into the structure of the shell, turning softness into an aesthetic element as well as a functional one. The result is a chair with a bold yet balanced character, capable of fitting naturally into contemporary interiors.

Comfort and functionality

The shell, made of cold-molded flexible polyurethane, provides a soft and welcoming seat, while the enveloping backrest offers lateral support, further enhancing comfort. Mula is also stackable—up to three chairs high—a feature particularly useful in contract settings and spaces that require quick reconfiguration of seating arrangements.

Upholstery and customization

Mula can be customized with a wide selection of fabrics and wools, featuring various textures and shades offered by Miniforms. The base comes in black metal—a minimalist finish that highlights the upholstered volume of the shell without adding visual weight to the overall composition.

Versatility and Adaptability

Thanks to its compact proportions and the comfort of its upholstered shell, Mula is well-suited for residential dining areas, as well as restaurants, hospitality venues, and contract environments. Its enveloping design gives it a more substantial presence than a traditional dining chair, while still maintaining compact dimensions and a visually light structure.
