Stellar Nebula Table Lamp

Design

Stellar Nebula Table develops the organic language of the eponymous collection in a compact configuration, designed for placement on tables, consoles, sideboards, and other surfaces. The diffuser features a soft and deliberately irregular shape, achieved through artisanal glass blowing. Its oblique position introduces a sense of movement and apparent instability, offset by the fixed metal base that supports and balances the volume.

Blown Glass and Artisanal Uniqueness

The diffuser is made of blown glass, crafted by the master glassmaker within a mold and then shaped manually. The crystal glass is embellished with a dichroic hue created through PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment. This finish generates iridescent reflections that change depending on natural light, ambient lighting, and the viewing angle. The surface can display shades of blue, purple, yellow, pink, or amber, creating an effect similar to a small atmospheric phenomenon enclosed within the glass.

Lighting and Atmosphere

Stellar Nebula Table integrates an 8W LED source (220-240V) with a luminous flux of 650 lumens and a color temperature of 3000K. The CRI 90 color rendering index naturally reproduces the colors of surrounding surfaces, materials, and objects. Warm light passes through the diffuser, highlighting its variations in shape and thickness. The emission is primarily directed upward, helping to create a soft and evocative ambient light, accompanied by a more subdued component toward the tabletop.

Materials and Dimensions

The lamp combines an aluminum body with a blown glass diffuser. The metal base provides the stability needed to support the inclined volume and creates a textural contrast with the visual lightness of the glass. The diffuser has a diameter of approximately 30 cm, while the overall height is approximately 39 cm. These proportions give the lamp a striking presence, yet it easily fits on sideboards, consoles, and coffee tables.
