Danish design classics

The Audo Copenhagen catalog includes furniture for every part of the home or commercial setting, with pieces for the living room, dining area, bedroom, outdoor spaces, and office. Alongside contemporary designs, the collection also features Danish design Classics dating back to the 1950s—including the Penguin Chair by Ib Kofod-Larsen, an enveloping rocker with a curved, upholstered wooden back, and the Tired Man armchair, designed by Flemming Lassen in 1935 and inspired by the feeling of a polar bear cub in its mother’s arms.

Among Audo Copenhagen’s most iconic pieces is the Knitting Chair, designed by Kofod-Larsen in 1951. Its ergonomic, inviting structure was originally created to offer comfort while knitting or reading, with a backrest shaped to allow free arm movement during use.
