Driade Chairs

Those looking for an aesthetic that celebrates creative audacity and the most refined elegance are welcome in the universe of Driade, an Italian brand that embodies the soul of the art of living through a fusion of surprising shapes, materials innovative and a unique approach to design.

For more than fifty years, Driade has conquered the world of design with its extraordinary collection of furniture, lighting and accessories that transform spaces into scenarios of pure poetry and beauty.

Among Driade's iconic masterpieces we will mention the "Nemo" seat by Fabio Novembre, a work of art that challenges conventions with its sinuous and enveloping shape, inviting a unique experience of comfort and style.

Since 1968, Driade has been producing furnishings that have an artistic value close to collectibles. The idea behind the production is in fact that of an aesthetic laboratory, in which each object is created to bring art and creativity to everyday objects.

Driade and the designers who collaborate with the brand create unique and eclectic furnishings, made to fight homologation and born from an eccentric and innovative approach.

New shapes for your spaces with Driade chairs

Driade's production is represented by surprising designs and an unconventional approach: each chair is capable of evoking a world, made of irregular shapes and details that attract attention.

The Lagò chair by Philippe Starck is characterized by the contrast between the enveloping and round shell with thin stiletto legs. Its shape is emphasized by the bright lacquered colors that cover the entire surface. The Pip-e armchair and chair, designed by Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, reinvents the classic slatted chair, with continuous lines that connect all the elements.

The Meridiana chair imitates the facets of the diamond, which capture and reflect light, for a design that fits perfectly into residential and work environments. Designed in 2004 by Christophe Pillet, its iconic shape immediately projected it among the most recognizable chairs of contemporary design.

The Pavo Real armchair by Patricia Urquiola is an ode to the classics, a revisitation of the traditional Asian peacock armchair in bamboo and rattan, reworked according to minimalist canons and with a steel frame covered in wicker. Borek Sipek's Liba armchair uses bamboo and rattan to create a sculptural object, with an unusual style halfway between Cubism and Baroque.

Other Driade chair models include Toy and Lord Yo designed by Philippe Starck: the first, with its bold shapes, seems to be carved from a single block of propylene, while the second is characterized by softer lines and a light aluminum structure.
