Amoebe was designed in 1970 by Verner Panton for his famous "Visiona" installation, which included several versions of it. Made of upholstered surfaces and a flexible back shell, Amoebe is an extremely comfortable armchair: it consists of a polyurethane foam upholstery, a backrest with a laminate frame and fabric cover.
