Details and Measures
Design
The distinctive triangular shape of the legs defines the Teorema’s identity. The base’s clean geometry introduces a graphic element to the composition, striking a balance between structural solidity and visual lightness. The design seeks a beauty rooted in function: essential proportions, a metal structure, and extensive customization options allow the table to blend seamlessly into contemporary dining and living areas. Indeed, Altacom describes Teorema as a response to the quest for "functional" beauty.
Materials and Functionality
Teorema features a telescopic extension mechanism that allows the tabletop surface to be enlarged using an integrated extension leaf. When not in use, the extension is stored within the structure, keeping the table compact and tidy for everyday settings. Various size configurations allow users to select the format best suited to their available space and to expand the table when hosting more guests. The product range also includes the Teorema Super variant, available with multiple extension systems.
Versatility and Adaptability
A key strength of the Teorema is the wide range of tabletop customization options. Altacom offers surfaces in melamine, glass, wood veneer, mortar-effect finishes, and ceramic, allowing the same design to be interpreted through vastly different material combinations. The metal structure is also available in numerous finishes, ranging from neutral tones like black, graphite, and taupe to more distinctive options such as bronze, copper, mint, and gold. This versatility makes Teorema suitable for both minimalist interiors and more sophisticated, tactile settings.
