The 2208 sofa, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1963, embodies the essential elegance and functional comfort that define mid-century Danish design. With its compact form and balanced proportions, it reflects Mogensen’s vision of a sofa built to last and blend harmoniously into any interior.
Fully upholstered, it features refined piping along all seams that matches the chosen upholstery material, available in fabric or leather.
The fixed solid wood legs, integrated into the internal wooden frame, are offered in black lacquered oak, soaped oak, oiled oak, oak light oil, and oiled walnut finishes.
The seat is supported by jute webbing and rubber straps.
The cover is non-removable. Seat and back cushions, available either with a foam core wrapped in down or filled with a mix of foam and down in separate chambers, ensure inviting comfort and understated elegance.
