Maap Wall Lamp

Design

Maap is born from the encounter between geometric rigor and material spontaneity. The technical structure remains hidden behind a lightweight covering, similar to a luminous membrane, which can be creased by hand to achieve the final configuration. The shape is therefore not completely predetermined: each installation takes on a slightly different presence, transforming the wall into a luminous landscape with a natural and dynamic appearance. The simplicity of the white element is enriched by the complexity of folds, shadows, and surface variations.

Diffused light and atmosphere

The LED sources are positioned on a metal support fixed to a circular backplate. The light is diffused across the expansive fiber surface, generating soft, uniform illumination. Maap is designed to create a broad, immersive lighting effect, similar to a luminous cloud applied to the wall. Its diffused emission makes it ideal for enhancing living rooms, entrances, corridors, bedrooms, lounges, and contract spaces where light becomes an integral part of the architecture.

Materials and fixing system

The lightweight, tear-resistant fiber covering is attached to the metal structure with large magnetic buttons. This solution maintains a minimalist aesthetic while highlighting the experimental nature of the project. The structure combines steel and ultralight fiber, combining technical solidity with visual lightness. The result is a wall lamp with a strong impact, capable of occupying a large surface area without being heavy.
