Black Red and Blue is a special version of the iconic Cassina armchair designed in 1918 by the "Maestro" Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. A truly unique, conceptual seat, coming out of a very particular and fruitful historycal and artistic period, like that of the rationalism from the early 1900s. Simple elements in beech wood are combined each other, shaping and modeling the space with an alternation of clean but harmonious lines, where none prevails over the other. A graphic game that goes beyond colors: in this special version, created for the teacher Wicher Zeilmaker, the chosen shades are purely aesthetic and underline how the color is not influential to the impression that the armchair can transmit. So we have the various strips that make up the structure in black with white terminals, while the seat and back are in dark green. A project designed not to break the space but to enhance it with the use of simple modular modules aggregated into something beautiful. The Black Red and Blue Zeilmaker is designed to be equipped with a seat / back cushions set, sold separately, upholstered in all the fabrics and leathers of the Cassina catalog.
