Kite Bed

Design

Kite establishes its identity through the contrast between the softness of the upholstered headboard and the precision of the black ash wood bed frame.

TThe wooden structure introduces a tactile, graphic element that frames the volume of the bed, while the black-painted metal feet maintain a discreet presence, consistent with the overall character of the design.

The "Murazzi" (Col. 15, Cat. F) upholstery enhances the padded surfaces, while the flat seams contribute to a clean, contemporary visual aesthetic.

Comfort and functionality

The headboard is constructed from wood and wood fiber, complemented by polyurethane foam padding.

The padding is lined internally with a white velvet-like fabric bonded to polyester fiber—a construction designed to provide a soft, comfortable surface.

The external "Murazzi" (Col. 15, Cat. F) cover is completely removable, a feature that simplifies maintenance and long-term care of the bed.

Structure and materials

Kite features a multi-element construction:

- Headboard made of wood and wood fiber
- Bed frame in black ash wood
- Metal bed base included
- Bed base functions as a load-bearing structure
- Polyurethane foam padding
- Internal lining in white velvet fabric
- Bonded polyester fiber
- Upholstery: Murazzi, Col. 15, Cat. F
- Feet in black-painted metal

The bed frame is attached directly to the metal base, creating an integrated and stable structural system.

Removable upholstery

Kite comes with upholstery in Murazzi (Col. 15, Cat. F), which is completely removable.

Flat seams accentuate the minimalist design of the headboard, contributing to a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

The ability to remove the cover also simplifies routine maintenance of the bed.

Versatility and adaptability

Kite is designed for contemporary bedrooms where materials, proportions, and construction details strike a balance between comfort and precision.

The black ash wood and metal feet allow it to be easily paired with nightstands, dressers, and other furnishings featuring wood, metal, glass, or lacquered finishes.

Meanwhile, the upholstered headboard—covered in Murazzi (Col. 15)—introduces a softer, more tactile element, making the bed well-suited for both minimalist interiors and rooms characterized by a richer variety of textures.
