Details and Measures
Design
Tototò is distinguished by a fluid, rounded silhouette, shaped directly by the artisan’s hands. Its volume appears to unfold seamlessly, resulting in a compact, soft form that highlights the inherent plasticity of clay. Because it is crafted by hand, every side table is unique; subtle variations in dimensions and surface texture become an integral part of the product’s identity, underscoring its authentic, artisanal character.
Material and Craftsmanship
Tototò is made from 100% high-fired clay. Miniforms uses a Tuscan clay called Refrattario Rosso, enriched with chamotte to obtain a more porous, malleable material suitable for working. The production process involves extensive manual labor, followed by firing in a kiln at approximately 1030°C. The result is a surface with a distinctive earthy tone, where slight irregularities and variations bear witness to the nature of the material and the artisanal process behind it.
Versatility and Adaptability
Available in two different proportions, Tototò can be used as a standalone piece or paired with another to create a more dynamic composition. The natural resistance of fired clay also allows the table to be used both indoors and outdoors, making it suitable for living rooms, verandas, terraces and relaxation areas. Its sculptural form and natural hue allow it to pair effortlessly with wood, stone, textiles, and other tactile materials.
