The Pòta! wall lamp by Catellani & Smith transforms the wall surface into a three-dimensional luminous composition. Thin brass rods intersect freely around a sequence of small light fixtures, creating a broad, dynamic, and visually light geometry.

Standard shipping is free on orders from 250€ (Italy only) and applies to ground-level delivery. Worldwide shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Design
Pòta! is the result of Catellani & Smith's research into a new lighting unit capable of generating diverse shapes and configurations. The design is not constructed around a traditional diffuser, but through the direct relationship between the metal structure, power supply, and light sources. The thin brass rods overlap, forming an irregular composition, in which each line contributes to the definition of the volume. The lamp occupies a significant portion of the wall, but the absence of closed surfaces allows the background, light, and colors of the room to visually pass through the structure.
A luminous, three-dimensional geometry
The wall version interprets the language of the Pòta! collection through an open geometry, developed primarily in width and height. The metal rods do not follow a perfectly regular grid. Their interweaving generates different directions, overlaps, and intervals, creating a balance between construction precision and compositional freedom. The LED points remain clearly visible and become part of the design. When the lamp is turned on, the light sources emphasize the brass structure and produce a luminous constellation that seems to extend beyond the physical limits of the fixture.
LED Dimmer
The plug-driver configuration is powered by a standard electrical outlet. The dimmer on the cable allows the lamp to be turned on and off and its output adjusted. The memory stores the last level used, restoring it the next time it is turned on. Pòta! is also available with a 14 x 14 cm white wall base, which allows the lamp to be connected directly to the electrical system, with a TRIAC dimmable driver.
