Our third day at the Salone del Mobile 2026 was dedicated to Minotti’s offerings, presented in a large exhibition space featuring expansive, immersive environments; to the museum-style exhibition designed by Formafantasma to showcase B&B Italia’s new furniture and vision; and to the illuminated display highlighting Maxalto’s latest creations. Other exhibitions we visited included Flou, Bonaldo with its sculptural and distinctive designs, and Varaschin’s outdoor collection.
Once again today, attention to materials proved central, with textures and finishes shaping the objects and defining their character.
Minotti unveils its 2026 collection, a dialogue between architecture and design in a contemporary vision defined by volumes, materials, and atmospheres, designed by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, Nendo, GamFratesi, Inoda+Sveje, Hannes Peer, and Giampiero Tagliaferri.
Generously sized sofas, textured surfaces, and soft, natural colors define the sophisticated spaces envisioned by Minotti.

B&B Italia presents itself with a fresh new vision, featuring a museum space designed by Formafantasma where indoor and outdoor furnishings are displayed as installations. The focus of visitors is on the essence of the object, free from distractions.

The new collection curated by Antonio Citterio, La Parenthèse de Lumière, stands as a suspended interlude that interrupts the narrative flow to reveal a new light that illuminates the furnishings, both metaphorically and literally. For Salone 2026, Maxalto presents new designs and expansions to its range in which forms and materials emerge with even greater impact.

Flou presents its bedroom and living room collections, featuring the brand’s signature attention to detail in materials and comfort.

The new collection interprets furnishings as a cohesive ecosystem, a dialogue that defines space through materials, proportions, and function. In this context, each object takes on architectural significance, as it helps shape the environment and give it character.
Materials are at the heart of the 2026 collection, in line with this year’s Salone theme, where surface characteristics, textures, and thickness become the foundation of the design.

Varaschin brings its outdoor therapy, a blend of skilled craftsmanship and an ability to interpret contemporary needs for outdoor spaces.
