The Syphasfera lamp was born from the vision of Enzo Catellani, who developed a line dedicated to outdoor lighting for Catellani & Smith, capable of extending the warmth of home to gardens and terraces. The project's goal was to bring the intimate and welcoming atmosphere typical of interior lighting to outdoor spaces, responding to the modern trend of experiencing the outdoors as a natural extension of the home.

Created by designer Maurizio Quargnale in collaboration with Catellani & Smith, the Syphasfera lamp stands out for its simple silhouette that harmoniously interacts with the surrounding vegetation. The design is conceived to blend into the natural landscape, becoming an integral part of it rather than appearing as an artificial element. The undisputed protagonist is glass, which in this model takes the form of a striking sphere, available in transparent or with an irregular surface, supported by a slender black-painted metal stem with elegant brass details.

From a technical standpoint, Syphasfera guarantees high performance and maximum weather resistance thanks to its IP65 rating. The 0.8W LED light source is designed to emit a warm 2700K light, ideal for recreating the evocative and relaxing atmosphere typical of indoor environments. The combination of high-quality materials and 12Vdc technology makes this light fixture a safe and visually striking solution, capable of enhancing green areas and walkways with a discreet yet striking presence.
