The PostKrisi wall lamp by Catellani & Smith, designed by Enzo Catellani, was born as an exploration of the relationship between light and material. The diffuser captures and retains light, transforming it into dramatic shadows that animate the surface on which it is installed, creating dynamic and engaging visual effects.
Materials and Workmanship
The nickel-plated metal frame and base combine with a fiberglass diffuser featuring fringed edges. This deliberately irregular material treatment amplifies the depth of the light and generates fascinating contrasts between soft surfaces and metallic details.
Lighting and Specifications
The lamp is equipped with two 1W LED sources, for a total power of 2W at 350 mA. The light output reaches 280 lumens with a color temperature of 2700K and a CRI of 80, providing warm, diffused lighting. The constant current LED driver is compatible with 110V or 240V voltages and does not have a dimmable function.
