Design
The defining feature of Random 96 is its irregularly woven lampshade—a technique that lends the surface a lightweight, tactile, and intentionally imperfect appearance. Its slender silhouette and open-weave texture evoke ethnic and artisanal influences, reinterpreted by Paola Navone through a contemporary design language. When illuminated, the woven structure allows light to filter through the shade's openings, enhancing the lamp's decorative character and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Lighting and functionality
The lampshade is crafted from high-density polyethylene, a material selected for its resistance to water and humidity. The product is also UV-stabilized for outdoor use and features an IP44 protection rating, making it resistant to water splashes. Random 96 uses an E27 socket and is compatible with LED light sources up to 15W (220V). The light bulb is not included.
Versatility and Adaptability
Random 96 can be used individually as a pendant light or installed in multiple arrangements to create striking lighting sequences.
