Adjustable Table E 1027 is named after the summer house that Eileen Grey built for herself and her collaborator Jean Badovici, a secret code that contains their initials: E per Eileen, 10 per Jean (J is the 10th letter of the alphabet), 2 for B(adovici) e 7 for G(ray).
