Design
Teresa is the result of Ferruccio Laviani's research into the expressive potential of plastic materials and production techniques capable of achieving complex curved forms. The diffuser is composed of a succession of sinuous vertical elements that open around the light source. The surfaces resemble flower petals and create a large, slightly flattened volume, recognizable from any perspective. The alternation of solids, openings, and curves introduces rhythm and depth. The light passes through the different parts of the diffuser, highlighting its profile, while the cylindrical base provides visual stability and allows the upper part to remain the main focus of the composition.
Soft, enveloping light
The light source is placed at the center of the diffuser and interacts with the entire floral structure. The light passes through the PMMA Frozen, highlighting the edges of the petals and creating a succession of brighter areas and delicately shaded areas. The overall effect is diffuse and comfortable, especially suitable for mood lighting. Teresa Frozen does not simply illuminate the surface on which it is placed: the brightness extends laterally and highlights the lamp's volume, transforming the diffuser itself into a luminous presence. The 2700K color temperature produces a warm tone, suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, and reception areas.
Versatility and ambiance
On a sideboard or console table, Teresa Frozen becomes a decorative element capable of enhancing the wall and surrounding objects with warm, diffused light. In the bedroom, it can be placed on a large bedside table or a low cabinet, where the dimmer switch allows for reduced intensity in the evening.
