The heart of Taccia lies in its extraordinary indirect and reflected lighting system. The light source is cleverly concealed in the base to avoid glare, projecting the beam upward against the metal reflector. The latter, painted glossy white on the inside and powder-coated white on the outside, diffuses light softly and uniformly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the surrounding space.
Craftsmanship and Noble Materials
Each component of Taccia reflects Flos's dedication to material excellence. The large, adjustable diffuser is crafted from transparent, hand-blown glass, a craftsmanship that makes each piece unique. The lamp body, reminiscent of the rigor of classical architecture, is composed of a black-painted extruded aluminum base, which also serves as a heat sink.
