Designed by Gio Ponti, Sorrento carpet is made of a chessboard pattern; the designer was inspired by the ceramics realized for the floors of Hotel Parco Principi in the town of Vietri, Italy. Hand knotted, the carpet is a masterwork with a composition in pure silk and Tibetan wool.
