Design and Concept
The PostKrisi Chandelier by Catellani & Smith, designed by Enzo Catellani, was born from an experiment with materials in which light, shape, and color interact dynamically. The surface of the diffusers captures and retains light, transforming it into an expressive element capable of casting deep, dramatic shadows.
Materials and Workmanship
The collection's distinctive feature is natural fiberglass, crafted with fringed edges that accentuate the material effect and create contrasts with the elegant metal structure. The base is made of satin-finish steel, enhanced with copper and brass details and blue cables that introduce a bold, contemporary chromatic signature. The diffusers are available in 14 or 20 cm diameters.
Lighting and Specifications
The lamp is equipped with 2 x 1.1W LED boards (24Vdc), for a total power of 2.2W. The light output reaches 126 lumens with a color temperature of 2700K and a CRI of 90, providing warm, high-quality lighting that enhances the dramatic effect of the materials.
