Design and Concept
The PostKrisi 64 floor lamp by Catellani & Smith, designed by Enzo Catellani, represents a material exploration of light. The diffusers capture and retain light, transforming it into a dynamic element that casts evocative shadows in space. The complex and sculptural composition makes the lamp a strong and distinctive visual presence.
Materials and Workmanship
The structure is composed of a metal base and stem, available in two versions: a black-painted base with an untreated brass stem, or a nickel-plated base and stem. The fiberglass diffusers, available in a natural or white-painted finish, feature frayed edges that emphasize the material effect and create a refined contrast with the metal elements. The cable and dimmer are black.
Lighting and Specifications
PostKrisi 64 uses three 8W E27 LED bulbs, for a total light output of 2,700 lumens with a color temperature of 2,700K and a CRI of 80 or higher. It is available for 110V (bulbs not included) or 240V with a floor dimmer featuring a last-step memory function, which maintains the last light intensity setting.
