Ortelia is Lema's kneading trough design by Marelli e Molteni. It is never easy renew a classic furniture, specially when function and shape are hardy changeable. That's when the art of designer comes out: creating the particular, the unusual, the captivating without underminig its functionality. That's how Ortelia came out, a kneading trough that keeps its original shape, but that was able to renew its style, breaking the linearity. The two doors and the two drawers, indeed, are hidden on the front surface by a fine and elegant geometrical game, an original but always useful way to hide the swing doors and the sliding. There's one more particularity: also the inside are lacquered the same way the outside. Ortelia is available in all the lacquered finishes of Lema's catalogue, both polish and matt. Available several optionals, such as the inside drawer made of lacquered wood, wich acts like a inside partition, or the bonded leather mats for the drawers' bottom.
