Horm was founded in the late 1980s in the furniture district of Pordenone. Its name reflects its philosophy: in ancient Aramaic, it means “sacred enclosure with the right of asylum,” meaning a safe and secure place where one can be free. Horm creates functional and elegant furniture using refined materials crafted with Italian artisan quality.

The Tango table, designed by Joe Ducet and Renato Zamberlan, features a balanced aesthetic that combines the solidity of its materials with a light, airy form. Its understated design makes it well-suited for use in a dining room or as a desk in a home office.

More ethereal is the Meduse table by GamFratesi, featuring a sinuous metal structure inspired by the fluidity of a jellyfish’s movements. The glass top completes a sense of lightness and brightness, maintaining contemporary rigor and minimalism.

Horm tables embody structural balance and artisanal quality, having been honored with awards such as the Red Dot Award and the Compasso d’Oro Honorable Mention. Among the award-winning tables, Patrizia Bertolini’s Autoreggente features a self-supporting structure made of interlocking solid wood legs. The glass top reveals the structure’s fascinating interlocking pattern, while also highlighting the wood’s texture. The Autoreggente table exemplifies the celebration of Italian style, having received the 2014 Good Design Award, the 2015 ADI Design Index, and the 2016 Compasso d’Oro Honorable Mention.

The monumental Quadror 03 table by Dror, winner of the 2016 Red Dot Award, stands out for its large solid wood or veneered top supported by a double triangular base with slanted surfaces. Its size and minimalist design make it perfect for contemporary homes with character or for large meeting rooms.
