Leon Wood Sideboard

Design and Artistic Inspiration

The Leon Wood sideboard by Horm was born from a design idea inspired by the chromatic research of artist Leon Tarasewicz, presented at the 2001 Venice Biennale. The front of the cabinet features triangular inserts applied to the doors, creating a sophisticated visual effect: viewed from different angles, Leon Wood reveals the color of the structure, or the depth and rhythm of the wood, offering a dynamic and ever-changing visual experience.

Materials and Workmanship

The frame and doors are made of particleboard veneered in wood, while the triangular inserts are made of solid beech wood. Inside, the transparent tempered glass shelves ensure visual lightness and functionality. The 2 cm high, retractable thermoplastic feet slightly raise the unit from the floor, accentuating its formal purity.
