Design

Lauro represents a significant part of Marset's origins, when design began to become a strategic pillar of the brand. Its re-edition remains faithful to the original project, enhancing technical materials, decisive proportions and an aesthetic capable of uniting past and present. The steel structure recalls the industrial language of the seventies, a period in which steel bending represented a technical and design challenge. This detail makes Lauro not only a historical re-edition, but also a still current object, capable of highlighting the construction quality of the original project.

Lighting and functionality

The lampshade can be oriented to direct the light according to the needs of the space. It is possible to rotate it and adjust its height along the support, obtaining a more direct light or a more diffused and atmospheric effect. The lamp works with a 7.5 W E27 LED source, not included. This choice recalls the lamps of the past and updates their use with a contemporary lighting solution that is simple to manage and replace.

Materials and finishes

Lauro combines chromed steel and methacrylate in the diffuser, with steel structure. The base and stem are available in chrome or anthracite finishes, two variants that allow the lamp to be interpreted with different characters.

The methacrylate lampshade is available in:

Translucent opal, for a diffused and soft light.
Double layer black, for more direct lighting.

The chrome finish enhances the brighter and more retro side of the project, while the anthracite offers a more sober, graphic and contemporary look.

Installation

The wall version of Lauro has a height of 50 cm and is designed for plug-in installation. The 2.5 meter black cable allows flexible placement, ideal when you want to insert a wall light without a direct electrical connection in the wall. The switch is positioned on the lampshade, so as to make switching on practical and immediate.

Versatility and adaptability

Lauro wall mounted is ideal for living areas, bedrooms, reading corners, corridors, studies and contract environments. It can be installed next to a sofa, near the bed, above a console or in a passageway where the light must also become a decorative element. The collection also includes the table version, 41 cm high with a 38 cm base, and the floor version, 135 cm high with the same base. This variety allows you to create coordinated lighting projects, maintaining a coherent aesthetic identity.
