The La Linea pendant lamp by Artemide, designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, is a flexible light tube capable of freely extending through space. The suspended configuration allows for the creation of linear, curved, or sinuous compositions, transforming light into a continuous architectural element suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Worldwide shipping
Standard shipping is free on orders from 250€ (Italy only) and applies to ground-level delivery. Worldwide shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Design
La Linea transcends the traditional concept of a pendant lamp. Its thin, flexible body can be shaped in space according to different geometries, adapting to the proportions and characteristics of the architecture. The uniform circular section maintains a clean visual presence, while the luminous continuity makes the composition immediately recognizable. The technical fixing elements are designed to integrate into the lamp body, reducing the visual impact of the components and allowing the line of light to take center stage. The result is a versatile system, capable of acting as a decorative pendant, a graphic design, or a truly custom lighting installation.
Continuous and diffused light
The lamp body is made of highly diffusing optical silicone. The material uniforms light emission across the entire surface, reducing the perception of individual LED points and generating a soft, continuous line of light. La Linea offers a power output of 13.2 W per meter and a luminous flux of 960 lumens per meter. The 3000 K color temperature produces a warm light, suitable for both convivial environments and professional and hospitality spaces. The CRI 95 color rendering index accurately reproduces the colors of furnishings, materials, and surrounding surfaces.
Intensity adjustment
La Linea is available with APP, Push, and DALI-compatible dimming systems, depending on the driver and configuration selected. Dimming allows the light level to be adapted to different activities. Higher intensity can illuminate task areas, tables, and counters, while a more moderate dimming allows for a soft, dramatic atmosphere. The driver must be selected separately based on the system's characteristics and the desired control system. The IP65 rating makes La Linea suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, provided it is installed with the appropriate power supplies and accessories.

Above a dining table or kitchen island, La Linea can follow the length of the tabletop or create a suspended curve, creating functional and decorative lighting. In open-plan spaces, it can be used to define a specific area without the need for architectural dividers. In entrances, stairways, and double-height spaces, it allows for freer, more sculptural compositions. The system's flexibility also makes it particularly suitable for restaurants, lounges, hotels, offices, showrooms, retail spaces, and exhibition spaces.
