Gervasoni was founded in 1882 in Udine, under the name "Premiata Società Friulana per l'Industria del Vimini”. The small local business was taken over by Giovanni Gervasoni in 1925, in the aftermath of World War I, during a time of economic and social upheaval. From that point forward, Gervasoni began its transformation, eventually becoming part of the history of 20th-century Italian design.
In the 1990s, the company moved toward innovation, guided by the artistic direction of Paola Navone. The eclectic designer created some of the brand’s most iconic collections, including the Ghost armchair.
Today, Gervasoni designs indoor and outdoor furniture based on an idea of contemporary comfort that feels effortless and refined, blending nature with human creativity and offering endless options for customization.
