The Duke sideboard by Poliform, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, combines substantial volumes with soft lines, resulting in a piece with a strong architectural presence. Its curved surfaces lighten the solidity of the structure, evoking the fine art of cabinetmaking, and define a collection where exquisite materials and sophisticated craftsmanship take center stage in the living area.

Duke is distinguished by its balance between solid volumes and curvilinear profiles. The design avoids the rigidity typical of traditional storage units, creating a more fluid silhouette in which the fronts, sides, and top interact through gentle transitions and carefully calibrated proportions. Jean-Marie Massaud’s vision interprets the sideboard as a true statement piece, capable of establishing a sculptural presence in a living or dining room while maintaining an elegant, measured aesthetic.
The external structure and fronts are available in wood veneer or lacquer, while the top can also be specified in marble or travertine. This variety allows for fully coordinated looks or, alternatively, striking material contrasts. Versions featuring an open compartment in marble or travertine further enhance the collection’s luxurious character.
Duke is available in a wide range of internal and external configurations, including hinged doors, drop-down doors, drawers, and open compartments. This modularity allows the sideboard to be tailored to various needs—from simple storage to more decorative arrangements. A selection of heights and widths also makes it possible to choose between a more horizontal, lightweight profile or a vertical volume with greater visual impact.
The Duke collection is designed for living rooms, dining areas, or expansive open-plan spaces, where it can serve as a storage unit, a display piece, or the focal point of an interior composition. The numerous combinations of wood types, lacquers, and stones allow it to be integrated into both interiors with a natural feel and more sophisticated design schemes, coordinating seamlessly with tables, living area systems, and other Poliform furnishings.
