Design
Demetra interprets Naoto Fukasawa's "Without Thought" design approach, according to which the object must fit naturally and intuitively into everyday life. The structure is reduced to the essential elements: a circular base supports two slender arms and a compact light head. The joints are integrated into the design and allow the lamp's position to be adjusted without interrupting the continuity of its lines.
Adjustable light and visual comfort
Demetra emits direct, adjustable light, particularly suitable for reading, writing, and desk tasks. The articulated arms allow you to adjust the height and extension of the lamp, while the swivel head allows you to precisely direct the light beam towards the work surface.
Intensity Adjustment
The integrated LED light source is controlled via a dimmer microswitch located on the lamp head. This control allows you to turn Demetra on and off and gradually adjust the light intensity. The same lamp can therefore offer more intense lighting during work or a dimmed, relaxing light during breaks. Demetra is available with a warmer, more enveloping 2700K color temperature or a balanced 3000K color temperature suitable for operational activities. 220-240V.
Optional Motion Sensor
The collection also includes a version equipped with a motion sensor. The system detects the user's proximity and automatically turns the device on. This feature makes interaction more immediate and helps ensure light is used only when necessary. The lamp thus accompanies activities spontaneously, in keeping with the "Without Thought" design principle.
