Aurore's distinctive feature is its cantilevered legs, supported by an extruded aluminum frame. The supports embrace the tabletop and extend up the surface to hold it, transforming the structural function into an instantly recognizable graphic detail. Repeated along the different sides of the table, this gesture highlights the relationship between the base and the top and gives the design a strong contemporary identity.
Materials and Finishes
The choice of material significantly changes the perception of the table: marble accentuates its sculptural character, wood adds warmth, while the lacquered surfaces and Amber glass enhance light and reflections. The contrast between the finish of the supports and that of the top further enhances the chromatic and tactile dialogue between the various components.
