The 1000 Karat Blau suspension lamp is a unique piece that gives a particular luminous effect to any environment. Made with gold leaf and acrylic glass lampshades, it reflects the light from the bulb in a playful way, creating a warm and enveloping light.
As in the 24 Karat Blau lamps, which have been part of the Ingo Maurer collection since 2005, the 1000 Karat Blau features short-wave blue waves that can be glimpsed between the gold molecules. This feature makes the luminous filament appear to have a fascinating bluish color.
Thanks to its generous size, this pendant lamp can be used as a standalone piece of furniture or can be combined with multiple specimens to create large light installations. The 1000 Karat Blau will give a magical and suggestive atmosphere to any space in which it will be placed.
