The collection of iconic Utrecht chairs, designed by the "Maestro" Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1935, is enriched with a new element. In addition to the 2 or 3-seater sofas with curved or straight backs and the armchair, an XL version armchair is now available. The characteristic iconic and unrepeatable shape, shaped by the Dutch designer according to his unique style, rationalist and neoplastic, remains, what changes are the dimensions: a wider and deeper seat, with a higher back, guarantee unprecedented comfort. Essentiality, innovation and a total reinterpretation of shapes merge into a unique work, which has survived to the present day without ever losing relevance and modernity. The XL armchair is made of a solid steel frame, padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, while the upholstery is available in a selection of fabrics and leathers from the Cassina catalogue. To further characterize an already unique product, it is possible to personalize it choosing either the colour, chosen from 5 shades, or the stitching of the seams, between zigzags or blanket stitch.
