Design
The surface is the project's defining feature. The concrete treatment lends depth and solidity to the volume, while the regular rhythm of the vertical grooves creates a contemporary, reeded effect. At the base, traditional legs are replaced by a trapezoidal element that extends the unit all the way to the floor, reinforcing its continuity and monolithic presence.
Glass details
The structure's visual solidity is contrasted by internal shelves and handles made of clear tempered glass. This transparency introduces a lighter, luminous element, balancing the material density of the concrete finish.
Gervasoni style
The collection includes sideboards and credenzas available in various proportions, featuring low and high configurations as well as single- or double-door versions. Its horizontal profile makes Tapies particularly well-suited for living and dining areas, where it provides storage while maintaining a discreet yet well-defined architectural presence. The Gervasoni Tapies sideboard combines geometric rigor with surface exploration to create a storage unit with a strong material identity. Vertical grooves bring the troweled concrete to life, while glass elements and an integrated base lighten the composition, resulting in a piece of furniture that is both essential and contemporary.
