Shape Sideboard

Design

Shape interprets the sideboard as an architectural surface.

The six doors are not merely functional closures; they contribute to a design composed of volumes, recesses, and visual interplay. The result is a dynamic facade that shifts in appearance depending on the lighting and the viewer's perspective.

The piece’s expressive power stems precisely from this balance between solids and voids, which brings movement to an otherwise minimalist geometric form.

Functionality and storage

Beyond its decorative exterior, Shape offers ample storage capacity.

The sideboard features:

- 6 doors
- 1 internal central shelf

This configuration allows for the organized storage of tableware, accessories, and other items for the living or dining area, keeping the space tidy while maintaining a strong aesthetic presence.

Materials and finishes

The structure of Shape is crafted from MDF.

It is available in the following finishes:

- Matte lacquer
- High-gloss lacquer
- Hand-applied textured finish

The lacquered versions can be produced in any of the RAL colors featured in the collection.

The matte finish emphasizes the purity of the volumes and the design of the doors, while the high-gloss finish adds depth and reflections to the surface. The textured version introduces a more tactile, artisanal quality, highlighting the controlled irregularities of the hand-applied finish.

Versatility and adaptability

Shape can be incorporated into a dining room as storage for tableware and accessories, or used in a living area as a storage unit and decorative element.

The graphic design of the doors allows the piece to become a focal point on a wall, while the variety of available finishes makes it possible to adapt its character to a wide range of interior styles.

The lacquered versions are particularly well-suited to minimalist, contemporary settings, while the textured finish can create a more pronounced dialogue with materials such as stone, wood, concrete, and other tactile surfaces.
