An icon of Danish design
Originally designed in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, Panthella is considered a masterpiece of Scandinavian design. The project stems from the desire to create a lamp in which the base and diffuser work together to reflect and diffuse light, eliminating glare and generating comfortable illumination.
Organic shapes and enveloping light
The soft, fluid silhouette is the distinctive feature of the Panthella collection. The hemispherical diffuser directs the light downward, while the distinctive trumpet-shaped base gently reflects the light into the room, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Panthella Portable reimagines the iconic aesthetic of the original model in a more compact, rechargeable version. Thanks to its cordless design, it can be easily moved from room to room or used outdoors in protected spaces, offering maximum flexibility.
Design and Spaces
The combination of lightness, autonomy, and light quality makes Panthella Portable an ideal solution for contemporary lifestyles, while preserving the charm of the original design. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, studies, terraces, balconies, and hospitality spaces, the Panthella Portable lamp creates elegant and relaxing atmospheres in any space.
