Driade Tables

Driade has established itself since its foundation as an aesthetic laboratory, whose activity is based on three key elements: design, execution and advertising. Under the creative and communication guidance of founders Enrico Astori, Antonia Astori and Adelaide Acerbi, the company has developed the idea of ​​creating design furniture as art objects.

Driade tables, designed to surprise

Whether minimalist or more daring designs, Driade's identity emerges through the shapes and colors that characterize its production.

Essential shapes are often combined with important details, to enhance and highlight them. The Fourdrops table by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, for example, is characterized by a simple top combined with drop-shaped legs. The Mingx tables by Konstantin Grcic combine the lightness of the steel sheet legs with a solid quartzite top. The Easel table designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, like the other models, has an airy and light appearance, with an essential top suspended on two wooden structures.

Driade is also bold and sculptural shapes, with unconventional and unexpected details. Among these designs, the Tottori table by Katerina Solokova with rounded edges and legs, available in three glossy lacquered finishes. The Anapo table by Gordon Guillaumier combines the rigor of the painted steel base with a transparent top. The oval Didymos table by Antonia Astori is the perfect dining table, without edges and without hierarchies between guests, characterized by a Crystalplant sculpture base and a polished Carrara marble top.

The radical designer Enzo Mari was one of the great innovators of Italian design, an intellectual guide in the research and philosophy of design, considered by his colleagues as the conscience of designers.
