Baxter was founded in the 1990s by the descendants of master saddle-makers, with the goal of continuing the Italian design tradition. Expertise in leather craftsmanship was the brand’s defining trait in the early years, when the classic English mood was reinterpreted through an Italian attitude.

Over time, Baxter has expanded its material palette, reinventing stone, metal, wood, fabric, and resin with its distinctive mastery and influence of styles.

The latest Baxter armchairs feature rigid shells combined with soft, inviting cushions, drawing inspiration from 1970s aesthetics and signed by Draga&Aurel. The Marylin armchair offers an enveloping, swivel base for a cozy, cocooning feel, while Barret stands out with its oversized, curled leather seat on a swivel base. The Leon armchair is defined by its fluid, rounded silhouette.
