Lauro Floor Lamp

Design

Lauro is a floor lamp with a strong visual impact, designed to furnish spaces with volume, presence, and authenticity. Its aesthetic recalls Marset's origins, when design began to establish itself as a central element of the brand's identity. The steel base and stem, available in chrome or anthracite finishes, maintain the technical and industrial language of the 1973 project. The workmanship of the steel, difficult to shape and bend, still emphasizes the lamp's constructive value and makes it a contemporary object, as well as a historic reissue.

Lighting and functionality

The lampshade can be adjusted to direct the light according to the needs of the space. It can be rotated and its height adjusted along the support, achieving more direct lighting or a more diffused and atmospheric effect. Lauro uses a 7.5W E27 LED light source (not included). This choice maintains the reference to lamps of the past, updating it with a contemporary and easily replaceable lighting solution.

Materials and Finishes

The structure is made of steel, a material that defines the lamp's solid and architectural character. The lampshade combines chrome-plated steel and methacrylate, offering two different lighting interpretations:

Translucent opal methacrylate for a soft, diffused light.
Double-layer black methacrylate for a more direct lighting.

The chrome and anthracite finishes allow Lauro to be adapted to different contexts: brighter and more reflective in the chrome version, more graphic and contemporary in the anthracite variant.

Versatility and adaptability

In the floor version, Lauro is 135 cm tall and has a 38 cm base. Its proportions make it ideal for living areas, reading nooks, studies, bedrooms, lounges, and contract spaces. It can be placed next to a sofa, near an armchair, or in a passageway, where the lamp becomes a decorative element with a strong personality. The collection also includes a table version, 41 cm high, and a wall version, 50 cm high, for creating coordinated lighting projects.
