Elan is Cappellini's 2 seater sofa designed by Jasper Morrison. A series of padded and leather, fabric and faux leather coated seats, which became famous, since their very first appearance, for their linearity and essentiality. Elan is made by a frame of MDF, solid fir and poplar plywood panels, with metal inserts. Springing is on elastic belts, whereas padding is with polyurethane foam and feathers. Seater cushions are made of feathers. Coating is removable, in all the fabrics and leather from Cappellini's collection, whereas the base are in satin stainless steel or matt lacquered.
