Boltons Table Lamp

Design

Boltons is born from the dialogue between two visually opposed elements: the transparency and material consistency of the glass body and the defined surface of the metal reflector. The structure develops vertically with a soft, organic geometry. At the top, it supports the adjustable disc, which appears suspended above the glass thanks to a precise magnetic fastening system. The visual lightness of the transparent body highlights the reflector and makes the light path immediately visible. Each component maintains a precise technical function, but also contributes to the lamp's decorative identity.

Hand-crafted Glass

The Boltons body is shaped using a traditional technique that incorporates a delicate air bubble within the glass. This artisanal touch determines the lamp's unique geometry, resulting in subtle variations in each piece. A lens is positioned at the base of the lamp, collecting the light emitted and directing it entirely upward. The beam passes through the transparent body without compromising the system's efficiency and reaches the upper metal disk. The reflective surface then intercepts the light and directs it into the room based on its angle.

Adjustable Reflector

The upper disk is secured by a magnetic sphere, allowing for a wide range of movement. By adjusting the reflector's angle, it is possible to change the direction of the light and create different effects on the wall, the surface, or the room. Adjustment is simple and intuitive, while the magnetic attachment keeps the surface free of visually invasive mechanisms. The lamp can thus offer a more concentrated light or a more diffuse and atmospheric illumination, adapting to the needs of the space and the time of day.

Versatility and ambiance

In the living room, Boltons can be placed on a sideboard, console table, or side table, where the glass and metal disc become the focal points of the composition. In the bedroom, it can enhance a generously sized dresser or bedside table, offering adjustable light and a striking decorative presence. In a study, the spotlight allows the light to be directed toward the countertop or the wall, adapting the atmosphere to different activities.
