Anisette is a pendant lamp shaped like an inverted lantern, designed by Francesco Lucchese. At the heart of the design lies the shaded white crystal, which gives the lamp a contemporary elegance and a uniquely refined light.
The two white crystal diffusers interact with the internal light source, creating a play of transparencies and reflections that results in a warm, enveloping illumination. The name Anisette is inspired by the optical effect that occurs when anise-based liqueurs are diluted with water, evoking the same delicate interplay of shades and translucency.
The cleverly concealed mounting system preserves the purity of the form, while the inner rod allows adjustment of the light’s height—offering flexibility in illumination and enhancing the glass’s subtle nuances.
