Details and Measures
Inspired by the decoration of the facade of the "Gran Madre di Dio" cathedral in the city of Taranto in Italy, Gio Ponti designed Taranto carpet. With a composition in pure silk and Tibetan wool, the carpet is available in two colour variants: grey and beige. The whole designer collection can be defined as a masterwork, made of carpets that play on lighter or more pronounced features, contrast of colours and on geometries that convey a sense of three-dimensionality and depth to them.
