Pelleossa Stool by Miniforms
The Pelleossa Stool by Miniforms, designed by Francesco Faccin, reinterprets classic Italian designs from the pre-industrial era through an essential, slender, and lightweight structure. The project employs traditional materials, placing woodturning at its core and transforming a historic technique into a contemporary design language.

Details and Measures
Design
The Pelleossa Stool embodies the same clean, distinctive identity found throughout the Pelleossa collection. Its slender profile distills the structure down to its absolute essentials, with joints, proportions, and construction details serving as integral components of its aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from Italian tradition, the design takes a conceptual approach: while the stool retains the memory of pre-industrial seating, it translates this heritage into an essential, modern-day object.
Materials and Craftsmanship
Woodturning enhances the form of the legs and structural elements, showcasing the quality of the timber and the precision of the craftsmanship. The seat is available in either leather or river straw—materials that reinforce the stool’s natural, artisanal character.
Comfort and Functionality
With its compact frame and integrated footrest, the Pelleossa is well-suited for daily use at counters, kitchen islands, or snack bars. Its lightweight proportions allow for multiple stools to be placed together without visually crowding the space, while the combination of wood and natural materials ensures a pleasant tactile experience.
Versatility and Adaptability
The Pelleossa Stool fits seamlessly into contemporary kitchens, living areas, restaurants, bistros, and hospitality spaces. Its understated design language allows it to complement both modern furnishings and more traditional, material-focused interiors—where the turned wood and woven seat serve as a bridge to the world of traditional craftsmanship.
