Lampampe is the table lamp designed by Ingo Maurer in 1980. An unusual object that combines east and west in a practical object with an eccentric style. Lampampe follows the design lines of the classic western abat-jour, but is dressed in oriental style materials and solutions: the internal structure is in steel, while the upholstery is in Japanese paper, deliberately creased, and the diffuser follows the shape of the famous headgear Eastern. The effect created by Lampampe is a direct and diffused lighting at the same time, with the entire lamp illuminating and enveloping the surrounding environment with a warm and soft light. The lamp is sold without a bulb, sold separately, with E27 and maximum 100W. Lampampe is available in 125V and 230V versions.
